TEDS Commencement Schedule
Friday, May 10
Student check-in: Rodine Building Lobby
- Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your rehearsal start time if you need to put on regalia.
- Remember to give your valuables to your guests before you go to Rodine (Hinkson Hall will not be locked on May 10).
Rehearsals: Hinkson Hall, Rodine Building
- 2:00pm: Certificate, MA, ThM (this rehearsal will be for the 3pm ceremony)
- 5:30pm: DMin, MDiv, PhD (this rehearsal will be for the 6:30pm ceremony)
Immediately following the rehearsal, students will line up and walk to the Chapel.
Commencement Ceremonies: A.T.O. Chapel
- 3:00pm the Certificate, MA, and ThM ceremony begins
- 6:30pm the MDiv, DMin, and PhD ceremony begins
TC/TGS Commencement Schedule
Rehearsal: Friday, May 10 in the A.T.O. Chapel at 10:00am
Commencement Ceremony: Saturday, May 11 in the A.T.O. Chapel
Student check-in: Chapel Lower Level, Classroom L26
- Plan to arrive by 9:15am
- Remember to give your valuables to your guests before you check-in (the classrooms will not be locked on May 11)
- 9:30am students line up and walk to the Chapel lobby
- 10:00 AM the ceremony begins
Faculty check-in: Chapel Lower Level, Classroom L38

Receptions:
Graduates and their guests are invited to a complimentary dessert reception at our Waybright Center following their ceremony.
Please share this information with your guests.
Regalia:
Please respect that Commencement is a formal academic event.
- Honor cords or nationality stoles may be worn with permission of the Dean's office (remember to copy commencement@tiu.edu).
- No personal decoration, jewelry, or stoles may be worn on your regalia.
- No flipflops or other casual footwear will be permitted.
- If your regalia has not arrived before May 10, then plan to arrive early on your commencement day and someone will assist you.

Photos:
There will be a professional photographer from GradImages taking your picture during the ceremony. They will send you proofs a week or so after commencement and you can decide if you want to purchase any of the photos (there is no obligation to purchase photos from GradImages. The company is offering a pre-registration discount by going to their website, www.gradimages.com/registration.
